Donnie Wahlberg has confirmed what fans were hoping for—familiar faces from Blue Bloods are officially heading to Boston Blue.
Speaking recently, Wahlberg revealed that while the pilot didn’t include any returning characters, crossovers are already in the works—and this could be just the beginning. He even teased a dream idea: a future film bringing both worlds together.
Following the end of Blue Bloods after 14 seasons, Boston Blue continues the story through Danny Reagan, now working with the Boston PD alongside Detective Lena Silver, played by Sonequa Martin-Green.
The new series introduces a fresh police family while staying true to the heart of the original—faith, family, and tradition—while also revisiting unanswered questions from the past.
With crossovers on the horizon, one thing is clear: the Blue Bloods universe is far from over.
