The NCIS universe is expanding once again, and this time it’s heading to New York. CBS has confirmed that NCIS: New York will premiere this fall — and fans already have a big reason to be excited.
LL Cool J is officially returning as Sam Hanna, the fan-favorite agent from NCIS: Los Angeles. In the new series, Hanna returns to New York City to lead a fresh team handling high-stakes cases in one of the world’s most demanding environments.
Joining him is Scott Caan, known for Hawaii Five-0, who will play his unpredictable new partner — adding a new dynamic to the team.
Behind the scenes, longtime NCIS: Los Angeles writer Scott Gemmill is leading the pilot, while Byron Balasco steps in as showrunner. The goal: deliver a mix of action, humor, and strong character stories.
