CBS is boosting its Tuesday lineup with a new franchise entry, NCIS: New York, set to premiere in Fall 2026.
The series will air between NCIS (8 p.m.) and NCIS: Origins (10 p.m.), making it a key part of the network’s primetime schedule.
At the center is LL Cool J returning as Sam Hanna, reprising his role from NCIS: Los Angeles. Back in New York, Hanna teams up with a bold, unpredictable agent played by Scott Caan.
The show aims to mix the classic NCIS investigative formula with the high-energy backdrop of New York City. The pilot is written by longtime franchise writer Scott Gemmill, helping maintain continuity with previous spinoffs.
So far, only two cast members have been confirmed, with more additions expected as the team comes together. 📡🕵️♂️
