In the upcoming NCIS Season 21 finale, titled “Reed Madness,” fans are preparing for possible major losses within the team. A tense CBS promo has heightened concern, showing Agent Parker trapped beneath heavy debris and Agent Knight appearing to struggle underwater, suggesting a life-threatening situation.
The preview has left viewers anxious about the fate of both characters, especially as the cast has repeatedly warned that “no character is safe.”
Brian Dietzen, who plays Jimmy Palmer, also hinted in an interview with Deadline that the finale could bring significant and unexpected developments. While the promo focuses on Knight and Parker, Dietzen suggested that more than one character may be placed in danger, reinforcing the idea that anything can happen in the season finale. He added that the script is one of his favorites in years and teased possible shifts in character relationships as well.
Despite the tension, Gary Cole appears to have eased concerns about Agent Parker’s future. Responding to speculation, he suggested that he has not been informed of any departure from the series, implying that Parker is likely to remain part of NCIS moving forward.
