After nearly 14 years on the air, NCIS: Los Angeles is officially wrapping up. CBS has confirmed that the long-running spinoff will end with its current Season 14, with the series finale set to air on May 14.
Premiering in 2009, the series expanded the NCIS universe beyond Washington, D.C., following Special Agent G. Callen and the Los Angeles-based Office of Special Projects as they handled high-risk cases connected to the U.S. military.
CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach praised the show’s global success and enduring appeal, promising fans a meaningful and satisfying farewell.
The announcement comes during a landmark period for the franchise, highlighted by a major crossover event featuring NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: Hawaiʻi ahead of the brand’s 20th anniversary. While the ending may be bittersweet, NCIS: Los Angeles closes its chapter celebrating its legacy, beloved characters, and the fans who supported it for more than a decade.
