Fans have been hoping to see Jamie Reagan and Eddie Janko — along with their baby — appear on the Boston Blue spinoff ever since the series teased that more unseen members of the Reagan family would show up.
In a recent update, the show’s creators Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis revealed that even more familiar faces from Blue Bloods are on the way.
As previously reported, Bridget Moynahan will return as Erin Reagan-Boyle during the second half of Boston Blue Season 1 — and she’ll even direct an episode.
Another beloved cast member is also joining the reunion. Len Cariou will reprise his role as Henry “Pop” Reagan, reuniting with Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, in an episode expected to air in April.
After the midseason finale in December 2025, Margolis teased that more new characters are still coming.
“We will meet more members of the Silver family, and we will also see members of the Reagan family we haven’t seen yet,” he told TV Insider.
When asked whether Jamie, Eddie, and their baby could appear, Margolis joked that he “cannot confirm or deny” the possibility. However, he hinted that the show’s future looks promising after the network renewed Boston Blue for Season 2.
According to him, the renewal opens the door for even more Reagan family appearances in upcoming episodes.
This season will also introduce Mae Silver’s sister Jill, played by Holly Robinson Peete. On top of that, Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics will make a special cameo as himself later in the season. 🏀📺
For now, fans will have to wait and see which Reagan family members finally show up next.
