Michael Weatherly is officially returning as fan-favorite Tony DiNozzo in NCIS Season 24, joining the series for a season-long story arc this fall.
The announcement comes six months after NCIS: Tony & Ziva was canceled by Paramount+ following its first season. The spinoff reunited Weatherly with Cote de Pablo, who reprised her iconic role as Ziva David alongside Tony.
CBS has not confirmed whether de Pablo will also return for Season 24 or whether the network plans to continue or alter the storyline established in Tony & Ziva. For now, the network is keeping its plans under wraps.
NCIS Season 24 premieres this fall, airing Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
