NCIS Los Angeles Is BACK — And Everything Is About to Change!

As filming officially wraps, NCIS: Los Angeles is heading into its final chapter — and Daniela Ruah is reflecting on the journey.

 

Ruah, who has played Special Agent Kensi Blye since the series premiered in 2009, shared a heartfelt message describing the role as “an honor” as the long-running drama prepares to say goodbye.

 

Across 14 seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles proved the franchise could expand far beyond its original roots. The series not only built a loyal fanbase of its own, but also helped open the door for future extensions of the universe — including the Season 4 “Red Team” backdoor pilot experiment.

 

While the broader franchise continues with NCIS and NCIS: Hawaiʻi, NCIS: Los Angeles now prepares for its final bow — closing a defining chapter in procedural television history.
