Fans Can’t Get Over the Resemblance — Daniela Ruah’s Son Looks Just Like Deeks!
The internet is doing a double take after Daniela Ruah shared a sweet throwback photo of her son, River.
The NCIS: Los Angeles star, best known for playing Kensi Blye, posted the picture in honor of American Son’s Day. In the snapshot, River is just three years old — and fans were quick to notice something uncanny.
He looks strikingly similar to Ruah’s longtime co-star Eric Christian Olsen — aka Marty Deeks.
From the tousled hair to the playful grin, River’s resemblance to Olsen’s fan-favorite character is hard to ignore. Many viewers immediately pointed out that he could pass for a mini Deeks.
On screen, Ruah and Olsen portrayed one of the franchise’s most beloved couples. Off screen, however, Ruah’s love story is a little different — she’s married to Olsen’s brother, David Paul Olsen. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and share two children, River and Sierra.
It seems talent — and those recognizable features — run in the family.
