Emily Wickersham, best known for playing Ellie Bishop on NCIS, has welcomed her first child.
The actress gave birth to a baby boy, Cassius Wickersham Dale, on December 30. She later shared a series of heartwarming photos from the special moment. The child’s father is actor James Badge Dale, making this the couple’s first baby together.
Wickersham had revealed her pregnancy shortly after the Season 18 finale of NCIS, and chose to step away from the show to focus on starting her family.
Announcing the news on Instagram, she wrote: “Welcome to the world Cassius Wickersham Dale, born 12/30/21, just in time for New Year’s Eve. You are more than James and I could have ever hoped for. We are so in love with you.”
Her former co-stars quickly filled the comments with love and congratulations. Brian Dietzen shared, “Beautiful!! I’m so happy for you three,” while Diona Reasonover added, “He’s absolutely perfect.”
