Mark Harmon Returns for Every Episode of NCIS: Origins Season 3
Mark Harmon is officially set to return as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in every episode of NCIS: Origins Season 3, CBS has confirmed.
The new season will center on a present-day mystery connected to Gibbs’ military service at Camp Pendleton in the 1990s, weaving together elements of his past and present across the full storyline.
Since stepping away from NCIS in 2021, Harmon has remained involved with the franchise through narration and executive producing duties, though his on-screen appearances have been limited.
That changes significantly in Season 3, where Gibbs will take a leading role throughout the entire season’s arc.
His expanded return further strengthens the link between NCIS and NCIS: Origins, while giving fans a deeper look at one of the franchise’s most iconic and enduring characters.
