The NCIS universe is expanding again—this time heading straight to New York City.
CBS has confirmed that NCIS: New York will premiere in Fall 2026, with fan-favorite agent Sam Hanna returning to center stage. LL Cool J reprises his role as Hanna, who comes back to his hometown to lead a brand-new team tasked with protecting one of the world’s most high-profile cities.
He’ll be joined by Scott Caan, cast as his “roguish” partner, setting up a fresh and potentially explosive team dynamic.
The series is in experienced hands, with Scott Gemmill writing the pilot and Byron Balasco as showrunner—both known for their strong track records within the franchise.
