Marisa Ramirez is back in action as Detective Maria Baez in Boston Blue — and this time, she’s here for more than just a cameo.

In Season 1, Episode 6, titled “Code of Ethics,” Baez teams up again with Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan, marking the first time fans will see the duo working side-by-side since their long-awaited romance became official.

Set after Danny’s move to Boston to support his son Sean (Mika Amonsen), the series shows him building a new life with partner Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), while maintaining a long-distance relationship with Baez in New York.

Baez previously appeared briefly in Episode 3—ending with a kiss that had fans buzzing—but Episode 6 brings her back in a much bigger way. Together, Danny and Lena work a dangerous case involving a serial home invader, with Baez playing a key role.

Meanwhile, Sean’s romance hits unexpected trouble, and Mae (Gloria Reuben) and Sarah (Maggie Lawson) uncover a leak that could shake the justice system.

“Code of Ethics” airs Friday, November 21 on CBS.
