NCIS has been on the air since 2003 and is still going strong, continuing to follow a team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents as they solve complex crimes.
The series originally launched with stars Mark Harmon, Sasha Alexander, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, and the late David McCallum. Over more than 20 seasons, the cast has continually evolved as key actors have departed and new ones have joined.
Mark Harmon, who played Leroy Jethro Gibbs, exited the series after 18 seasons in 2021. More recently, Rocky Carroll, who portrayed NCIS director Leon Vance, also left the show in March 2026.
