After 14 seasons on NCIS: Los Angeles, LL Cool J is officially returning to the franchise in NCIS: New York, CBS’s latest expansion of its hit procedural universe.
The new series follows Sam Hanna as he moves to New York, joining a local field office tasked with protecting one of the country’s most critical cities. He’ll be joined by Scott Caan, whose character adds a bold, rebellious energy to the team.
CBS has confirmed the show will air on Tuesday nights this fall, forming a strong lineup alongside NCIS and NCIS: Origins. Meanwhile, NCIS: Sydney is expected to return later in the season.
The spinoff also marks Caan’s return to CBS following his long run on Hawaii Five-0, making this one of the network’s most anticipated franchise launches in recent years.
