Eric Christian Olsen Returns to the NCIS Universe Years After NCIS: Los Angeles
Eric Christian Olsen, best known for playing Marty Deeks on NCIS: Los Angeles, is officially returning to the NCIS franchise in a new capacity. He has joined NCIS: Origins as an executive producer.
The move reconnects Olsen with the franchise that shaped a major part of his television career, while allowing him to contribute behind the scenes to a new chapter of NCIS storytelling through Cloud Nine Productions.
NCIS: Origins explores the early life of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, with Austin Stowell portraying the younger version of the character. The series is also narrated by Mark Harmon, who continues to remain closely tied to the franchise.
Although Olsen is not currently set to appear on screen, his involvement as a producer has already generated excitement among fans of NCIS: Los Angeles, many of whom are eager to see continued connections between the spin-offs in the expanding NCIS universe.
